The Plymouth Food Pantry is a collaborative community food pantry serving the northwestern portion of Sheboygan County.
Our goal is to provide food, hope, and dignity to residents in need.
The Plymouth Food Pantry is supported by a coalition of area churches. We are governed by a board, which is made up of members of our area church members.
The Plymouth Food Pantry has over 100 dedicated volunteers that support its day-to-day operations.
There are no paid employees.
We serve the residents of the Northwestern portion of Sheboygan County. The area served includes all eligible residents of the Plymouth and Elkhart Lake school districts as well as the communities of Cascade, Waldo, Greenbush and Glenbeulah. Our guidelines allow any household earning less than 185% of the poverty level (established by the federal government) to receive food from the Plymouth Food Pantry.
The Plymouth Food Pantry distributes over 10,000 food items each month to eligible residents. Currently, we are assisting over 450 families (totaling 1200 individuals).
We are located inside the St. Vincent de Paul Store in Plymouth. The food pantry is open has new hours and they can be found by CLICKING HERE.
The food and other items distributed are provided through a variety of donations (e.g., cash, gifts of food from local businesses, organizations, churches, schools, and individuals, as well as food drives organized by many small business and community groups).
We receive no government support. We are a member of the Sheboygan County Food Bank and use the Feeding America Food Bank located in Milwaukee to purchase many of our food items.
